Bank of The Bahamas/Phil's Extend Cat Island CODE R.E.D Hurricane Relief
In the wake of Hurricane Irene?s devastating impact on Cat Island, Bank of The Bahamas announced today it is extending Cat Island Code R.E.D. -- relief effort drive -- with donation boxes at all New Providence branches, a cash account and two large containers for food, water, baby and medical supplies at Phil's Food Services.

Cat Island Hurricane Relief Efforts Get Moving
HUMANITARIAN efforts to donate $25,000 worth of hurricane relief supplies to people in Cat Island - thwarted by local red-tape - eventually started to move ahead late yesterday when the supplies were taken from the ship's flatbeds to a shed ready for distribution. They had been locked down at the Smith's Bay dock for four days.
